Here is our recording of Simple Gifts from our debut album, It was a Dream. This was recorded live at the Old Town School of Folk Music with the band and about 75 of our friends and family. That is Dona Benkert on the dulcimer.

Since 2008 Young Stracke All-Stars have worked to bring the rich legacy of Chicago folk music to young people across the city. Under the direction of Jason McInnes, the band of 8-15-year-olds has played nearly 100 shows across the city at prominent locations such as The Hideout, Taste of Chicago, the Chicago Children’s Museum, Millennium Park and The Old Town School of Folk Music.
